Located on the bank of the Little Arkansas River in Salida, Colorado, this house is designed to optimize riverfront outdoor living. The back patio features a pass-through window to the kitchen, ample space for dining, and great views of the river below. Above, long deck gives the upstairs bedrooms easy access to views of the Sangre de Cristo range. At the front, we used space formed by the detached garage to create a courtyard garden (which also accommodates additional parking if needed).
